At RADIAS Health we believe serious and persistent mental illness is a brain disease. It is neither a choice nor a character weakness. Each consumer is an individual with specific strengths, vulnerabilities, and clients can become their “own best expert on their illness.”

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” – Desmond Tutu

On May 25th, George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police. He should be alive today.

This incident was not singular or isolated, but rather the most recent racist act of violence in Minnesota by someone who was sworn to protect and serve.

RADIAS Health stands with black, indigenous, and persons of color whose voices have been silent for centuries. We acknowledge the systemic racism and oppression in this world, especially when it comes to the criminal justice system. There is difficulty in this moment for everyone, but we would like to take this time to amplify the voices of those who are fighting for their rights and their freedoms. Black Lives Matter.
