RADIAS Health is committed to training Mental Health Professionals in evidence based practices surrounding mental illness and substance use disorders as well as other topics which teach our employees to effectively work with clients in the community. Topics for training include Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Therapy, Interactive Effects of Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorders, and many other topics.

This training provides a broad overview of the Person-Centered Approach in supporting persons served.

Virtual Location 1:00 pm: Trauma Informed Care1:00 pm: Trauma Informed Care – Trainers: Alyssa Conducy, LICSW and Julie Duncan, MA, LP Associate Directors of Clinical Services Length: 6.5 Training hours (two 3 hour days) This course will provide participants with an overview of trauma including the impact on the brain, body, and lives of the individuals who experience it. We will discuss the prevalence of trauma and common trauma responses. We will review characteristics of trauma informed providers the principles of trauma informed care. This training includes practice techniques for use with individuals you serve.
