Objectives:
- Participants will have a better understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder, and will be able to outline the philosophy and foundation of DBT.
- Participants will learn and practice validation strategies to assist people who experience significant dysregulation.
- This course will provide a basic understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder. It will outline the philosophy and foundation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and highlight the skills and practice relevant to the participants’ practice. Participants will work together to determine validation strategies and practice/role play them.
