Alan has been with RADIAS Health since the beginning of 2018 when he was hired on for the Outside-In initiative which focused on serving individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in & around Downtown St. Paul. Before coming to Radias, he worked for the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities- Youth Intervention Services supporting an outreach team serving homeless & couch hopping youth & young adults in Hennepin, Anoka & Ramsey counties. Since 2008 when he was first trained by StreetWorks as a green bagged outreach worker, he has been working in multiple different capacities. Over these last 15 years, he has had the opportunity to work under different grants and funding streams in multiple counties; on the streets, in schools & many places in between. These experiences have given him opportunities to see homelessness look different from place to place.
